Yeesh. Every time I have to edit any piece of audio or video, my (already-ample) awe and respect for Adam’s crazy mad editing skills geometrically deepens.
Viz: It just took me fucking 20 minutes to do something Adam does dozens of times for every episode — simply removing the over-talking in three seconds of dialog. Twenty minutes. To enhance three seconds of white men saying “good bye.”
I love you, Adam. And, I think you might be made of magic.
In your defence, Merlin, Garageband is great - I use it, too - but it’s also the audio equivalent of using boxing gloves to eat a sandwich; you wanna shove that uncut thing in your mouth in one goofy go? Done. Two seconds flat.
Beyond that? You’re trying to hold a knife to cut the sandwich into pieces… It can be a frustrating experience.
